Winner of the Spring Spectacular Futurity & the UBBI Super Series, #03 Weston Nights, owned by Stoney Hariman
The 2012 Wayne Hodges 4 Star Trailers UBBI Futurity Super Series hosted it’s first of three events during the Spring Spectacular. One Hundred Thirty-Seven futurity bulls competed at this year’s Spring Spectacular and 93 of those bulls were enrolled into the Super Series. An additional $300 Super Series entry fee created a bonus pool of $27,900 to be divided among the top four Super Series eligible bulls at three events. Ninety-Three Hundred dollars was split four ways and Weston Nights, owned by Stoney Hariman earned a Super Series bonus of $3720. Together with his Spring Spectacular win and $6348, Weston Nights earned a total of $10,068.
The number two finishing bull, Recovery Time from Barker Bulls, was not enrolled into the Super Series, but earned $2752 for his second place Spring Spectacular win. Three Super Series eligible bulls split 3rd, 4th and 5th place in the event and each earned $1860 in Super Series cash along with $2752 for a total of $4612 each. Those bulls were Modern Warfare from Tom & Tish Peterson and U Freakin’ Kiddin’ Me and Platinum Max from Paul Daniel and Lorie Barbare.
The top 20 bulls at the Spring Spectacular earned a check. The 2nd and 3rd stops on the Wayne Hodges 4 Star Trailers UBBI Futurity Super Series will be in Shawnee, Oklahoma (May 19th) and Palestine, Texas (June 2nd).
