The UBBI has opened the gates on it’s 5th season and it already looks like it’s shaping up to be another great year. The UBBI added a new scheduled event in January in Palestine, Texas and attracted 131 different 2, 3 and 4 year old bulls. Some entries from as far away as Alabama and Arkansas.

The next stop on a long list of events is this weekend, again in Palestine, Texas with 60 Derby entries, 64 Classic entries and 98 Futurity entries, for a total of 222 bulls! A large number of new members are sticking their toe in the water for the first time with the UBBI in 2015 and they will be going up against a big group of seasoned UBBI competitors.

“I must say that it is always refreshing to see new folks participate at these events each year,” stated Randy Schmutz, the general manager of the UBBI. “I believe it’s proof positive that our organization is doing the right things and what we offer gains in value each season!”

Once again in 2015, the UBBI will host a number of regular season Futurity, Derby and Classic competitions along with it’s Youth Futurity Series, Rhinestone Renegades Women’s Futurity Series and the new United Futurity League. Together with the annual Ante Up Futurity, Gold Standard Futurity and Black Gold Derby events and the UBBI National Finals, estimated payouts are expected to surpass $1.7 million dollars in total prize money this season!

“We’ve got some exciting announcements coming soon,” Schmutz said. “This year is certainly going to be an exciting year for everyone!”
