The United Bucking Bull, Inc will begin it’s 5th season in 2015 and lots of exciting news is coming from UBBI Headquarters in Stephenville, Texas!

“Probably the most exciting thing for us is the addition of the United Futurity League (UFL),” stated Randy Schmutz, the general manager of the UBBI. “We have 40 Franchises or Teams that will compete in a 3 bull team format at 3 regular season events and year-end Finals! The UFL will payout almost $400,000 in prize money this season!”

The UFL schedule has been set. Four of the 6 UFL events will be held in conjunction with UBBI contests at the Spring Spectacular in Locust Grove, Oklahoma on April 3rd and 4th; the Red River Chute Out in Ada, Oklahoma on April 24th and 25th; the Battle of the Bull in Palestine, Texas on June 19th and 20th and the Battle of the Bull in Palestine, Texas on July 17th and 18th. Team owners can enter their bulls into the UFL event as a team and also pay regular season entry fees of $450 per individual bull. They can buck their bull once and the bull score will count for both the UFL & UBBI regular season competitions! The remaining 2 of 6 events will be held in Hamilton, Texas at the Circle T Arena on August 8th. All 40 Franchises will participate at the last event, 20 teams competing against each other in the morning the remaining 20 teams competing that afternoon. The UFL Finals will be held in conjunction with the UBBI National Finals at the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas!

The UBBI Youth Futurity Series has added an event to the schedule, for a total of 5 regular season events and a Finale again this season! Once again Pull-Do Trailers, Greenville Steel and Redneck Trailer Parts have donated a flatbed gooseneck trailer to be raffled off for UBBI Youth Scholarships in 2015. Last season with the help of these sponsors, the UBBI Youth Members raised $12,000 for the UBBI Youth Scholarship Program. A new rule for Youth Futurity competition in 2015 will be limiting youth to entering only 2 bulls per competition, unless otherwise posted in the entry details.

The Rhinestone Renegades Women’s Futurity events will once again be a part of the UBBI schedule as well. With 4 regular season events and the Finale, the women will have an opportunity to compete for prize money, buckles and other awards!

The Gold Standard Futurity and the Black Gold Derby are the largest and biggest paying events on the UBBI schedule each season. With 150 futurity entries and 100 derby entries, these events will payout a total of $250,000 in prize money! In addition, members can “Double Down” and combine a futurity and derby entry as a team for additional prize money! These events will be combined this year and held together inside the Pontotoc County Agri-Plex in Ada, Oklahoma on May 15-16! A new rule for 2015 will state that Gold Standard and Black Gold eligible bulls must have competed in at least one regular season UBBI event in order to participate at this year’s Gold Standard and Black Gold events!

There are two additional regular season events on this year’s UBBI schedule. One in February in Palestine, Texas and one on July 31 thru August 1st in Locust Grove, Oklahoma! There are plenty of great opportunities for UBBI members to be successful in 2015! Good luck to everyone!
