The top 7 bulls in the Futurity received UBBI Finals qualifier money and the next 5 bulls earned money in the Silver Select payout. The Silver Select payout was introduced in March of 2016. Entry fees at regular season UBBI futurity events were increased from $450 to $500. The $50 goes directly into the Silver Select payout and is paid back 100% to the next bulls placing outside the qualifier payout!

“We introduced the Silver Select payout last season,” stated Randy Schmutz, the general manager of the UBBI. “It was designed to increase participation in our Futurity events, while allowing those bulls that were placing just outside the qualifier payouts to earn money. It gives a larger number of participants a chance to win money. We will continue the Silver Select futurity payouts in 2017!”

Bull #537C Air Assault from 444 Bucking Bulls/Winston/Davis/Durham/D&H finished 8th and was first place in the Silver Select payout with a score of 85.75 points and earned $555. Bulls #57 Hot Wired from TNT Rodeo finished second in the Silver Select with a score of 85.5 points. Other bulls receiving Silver Select money were #90 Peace Rock from Stormy Foster; #524 from Scott Winston/Melton Bull Co; #553 Fireball from James Davis.
